 Site compromised i.e. "HACKED"

Solution

If you believe your web site has been hacked, compromised or accessed without authorisation, you are required to notify us as soon as possible.

Create a support ticket with SITE HACKED as the subject, make sure you include an alternative contact email address and contact telephone number.

Call 01872 555933 immediately.

Your site will be suspended to prevent further damage to your site, loss of your data and damage to the other sites on the same server (if your web site is on shared hosting as most of our customers are).

Once you have had the site repaired and secured, we will check that updates have been made, make basic security tests and make the site live again. We do not put sites back to live status unless updates have been made and the site appears secure. If required, we can archive your site and any database, then allow you to download the archived files for local repair with yourselves, your developers or your other technical support.

Please Note: Unless you have a support contract with us, all work related to this type of issue is chargeable at our standard hourly rate.
